Deep Fried Won Ton

Featuring: Golden Yuan Won Ton Wrappings

 1 pkg. GOLDEN YUAN Won Ton Wrappings

1/2 lb. diced raw shrimp
1/2 lb. minced pork
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soya sauce
1 egg

  1. Thoroughly combine all filling ingredients together.

  2. Place a teaspoon of the filling mixture in the middle of a Won Ton wrapping. Bring together the edges of the wrapping and stick them together with water to seal in the filling. Repeat for each wrapping.

  3. Fill deep fryer or large pot with 3 inches of cooking oil or shortening. Heat to 375.

  4. Carefully place Won Tons into hot oil and fry until golden brown.

  5. Remove and place on a dry paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve warm with sweet and sour sauce, or other sweet fruit sauce.

    *Other fillings that can be used include seasoned hamburger, sausage meat, minced veal, ground turkey or chicken, etc.
