Stove-top instructions:
- Add 1 tsp. salt to 2 cups of water or broth in a wok or skillet. Bring
to a boil.
- Add Noodles and beansprouts. Cook covered for 3 - 4 minutes, then
place softened Noodles and beansprouts on a warm platter.
- Reheat wok or skillet and add oil. Brown meat first, then add onions,
celery and mushrooms and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix remaining water or broth with 1/2 tsp. salt,
sugar, pepper, soy and cornstarch until starch is completely dissolved.
- Add mixture to the meat and vegetables and cook until liquid thinkens.
Pour over Noodles and serve immediately.
- Try garnishing with chopped green onions and GOLDEN YUAN Chow Mein
Noodles right from the bag.

Microwave instructions:
Use the same ingredients as above, and use FULL power for all cooking steps.
- Mix Noodles with beansprouts in a 4 qt. covered casserole dish.
- Add 2 cups water or broth, seasoned with 1 tsp. salt. Cover and cook
for 4 - 5 minutes.
- Mix thoroughly and cook for 3 - 4 more minutes. Leave covered and
set aside.
- In another dish, mix oil, meat and vegetables together. Cook covered
for 4 - 5 minutes.
- Mix remaining water or broth with 1/2 tsp. salt, sugar, pepper, soy
and cornstarch into a small bowl until starch is completely dissolved.
- Pour liquid mixture into dish with meat and vegetables and mix together
thoroughly. Cook covered for 4 - 5 minutes, then stir. Cook for 3 more
minutes.
- Pour entire contents over Noodles and cook covered for
1-1/2 minutes. Garnish as above and serve immediately.
